The school day
Arrival
Students arrive every morning by 8:10 a.m. Students arriving between 7:30 and 8:00 a.m. are placed in morning care. Vehicles enter through the southernmost gate during arrival and dismissal.
Dismissal
Students dismissed after 3:00 p.m. are placed in Homework Club, which runs until 5:00 p.m. A late pick-up fee applies after 4:30 p.m. on regular days, after 3:00 p.m. on days with no after-school activities, and after noon on half days.
Lunch
Students bring lunch in a sealed, labeled lunch bag, with a water bottle. If a student forgets lunch, the parent is contacted. Allergy information is kept current, and shared snacks must be store-bought with ingredients listed.
Phones
Students who bring a phone leave it with an office staff member on arrival and collect it at dismissal.
Uniforms and documents
Uniforms
Students arrive in proper uniform every school day. Items must be purchased from Dennis Uniform, at 8807 SW 132nd Street, or from Lands' End, and labeled with the student's name in indelible ink.

+We'd love to meet your child
The best way to know whether Killian Oaks is right for your child is to walk the campus on a school day, watch a lesson, and talk with the people who would teach them. Tell us your child's grade and we'll set a time.
